Wow, that is bad! :]You should check the drive belt while you're there... They stretch out and make a gross plastic burning smell...
You didn't say how long it had been...with 4 girls in the house it could have only been a week!!! It is a job that should be done way more often then we do. It's just so yucky...
Vacuum cleaning. That job sucks! :-)
